  5. Retelling From the board and nail During that terrible night I was just having a slight rest after that wind had broken me from the house when a mouse came along and clung to my nail. Soon I was being tossed around with the mouse in the water. Then I was stuck in a cherry birch tree. When the hurricane was over the mouse climbed down and pushed me down as well. But I at once noticed his flaw but was powerless to stop him. The current would be much to strong and I would be swept away and never be seen again! As I was panicking the brave mouse hopped on . He tried to ride me across but he was thrown off and I was swept down the river and never saw him again.

  6. Retelling The owl The mouse was acting very strange. He appeared to be trying to tempt me into coming down and attacking him. But already being injured I did not want to so I waited. This really infuriated him so he threw his spear. This was a mistake so I dove at him but he made it to his log. Then one day I noticed that one of my feathers was missing. The next day I discovered what had happened to it. The mouse who I called Fred but he was doing some sort of chant and he apparently thought that I was evil. Well I would have to do something about that soon. As I went to settle in my home. While I was devising my plan I realized that it was almost winter.
