Fine Learning Activities with Mega Bloks

Mega Bloks are famous toys among kids. These are played almost every day. Well, these games retain many ways to integrate learning and playing with the blocks. It doesn't require any practice work and children can play with these blocks in schools too. Learning while playing is a very good habit for your child. You can add some of the activities while playing this game and have fun while learning!<br><br>Color sorting: Scatter all the blocks in an open area and have a toddler race to collect all those blocks and sort them into piles according to the colors.

  1. Mega Bloks: are famous toys among kids. These are played almost every day. Well, these games retain many ways to integrate learning and playing with the blocks. It doesn't require any practice work and children can play with these blocks in schools too. Learning while playing is a very good habit for your child. You can add some of the activities while playing this game and have fun while learning! Color sorting: Scatter all the blocks in an open area and have a toddler race to collect all those blocks and sort them into piles according to the colors. This activity is a great way to learn the color names, know them and practice sorting.

  2. Color towers: Make creative towers and structures by using a single color block. You can talk about that color and after the building is completed, you can say things like "Wow, what an amazing yellow tower! Let's add some more yellow blocks to it". Big-Small and Tall-Short: Arrange the blocks in different shapes and sizes and let your kids recognize and answer whether the tower is big - small or tall- short. Make various towers with different variations and ask your child which is taller, smaller, shorter, and bigger. Counting: Playing Mega Bloks will help your kids to learn to count things. Place the blocks on the structure and ask your toddler, how many blocks are there in the tower we make. There are multiple ways to integrate counting and fiddle with blocks.

  3. Patterns: One of the most exciting activities in this game is patterning. There are various types of patterns. Like, while making a tower with the colors yellow, green, yellow, green, when you place the yellow block say 'yellow', and while placing the green block say 'green'. Continue this over and over till the tower is made, making it a pattern, this will help your child learn patterns in different ways. Order: Arrange the blocks in order like small to big or big to small. This activity will eventually make your child understand what they need to do when you ask them to put the blocks in order. Balance: Walk on the column, this is a great way to walk on balance. Let your child pretend that the column is a bridge and there are crocodiles on the sides, this will help them to balance themselves. Mega Blok games are very interesting and have a lot of fun incorporated into them. These are some of the best preschool activities that should be played by every little toddler.
