  1. Senior IT Technician Full time, Full Year - Grade 6/7 (£19,317 - £26,539) From March 10th 2014 (or as soon as possible thereafter) Parklands High School is a popular and high-achieving school. Levels of achievement have increased markedly over the past three years, along with many other key aspects of the school’s provision. The school has invested heavily in learning resources and teacher development, and staff are encouraged to be innovative and reflective in their practice. We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Technician who is a well organised, self motivated, methodical thinker with the ability to make strategic decisions of their own accord whilst under pressure. The successful candidate will join a small but well established technical team consisting of the school IT Network Manager and an IT Technician. The candidate must be punctual, presentable and professional in their approach and be able to work on their own or as part of a team. Good communication skills are vital and they must be able to work and communicate with peers and clients at all levels. A significant part of this new role is to support and also cover for the Network Manager. This is, therefore, an excellent opportunity for a well motivated and ambitious individual who is seeking to develop themselves, both technically and professionally.
