  5. Asia Pacific and China • According to the Medium-Term Gas Market Report issued by the IEA recently, the global trade balnce is visibly shifting to Asia which is now not only attracting increasing flows of liquefied gas natural gas (LNNG) but also of pipeline gas • There are many examples of practicability in developing natural energy exchange in the Asia Pacific over the years. One of them is represented by the Asia Pacific and China, for the most, due to a tremendous Program of gas industry development and gas introduction in the national economy.

  6. Asia Pacific GasProduction and Gas Consumption,2000 - 2011

  7. Gas Consumption on the Russia’s target markets, BCM,2000-2011

  8. Gas Production in the Asia Pacific/China,2000-2011 actual, 2012 – estimate, BCM

  9. The Russia’s target markets’ Gas Consumptionon the background of gas production in China, BCM,2000-2011

  11. Russia’s Eastern Gas Development Program Objectives • Russia’ s Eastern Gas Development Program implies actual LNG production and LNG exports (Sakhalin II) with production goals implying more than 14 BCM (2011) going to the Asia Pacific Region making some 7% of total LNG gas flows in the area • Russia’s target is to double this parameter with a corresponding increase in LNG production capacity by 2030 • Simultaneously, Russia’s Eastern gas development Program presumes initiation of gas pipeline exports to China and South Korea

  12. Prospective Russia’s Gas Production Objects in the East

  13. Eastern Gas Piping Rationale
