NAVY DOCTRINE FOR ANTITERRORISM/FORCE PROTECTION NAVY DOCTRINE FOR ANTITERRORISM/FORCE PROTECTION Reference: NWP 3-07.2 Purpose: Is intended to be a single source reference for antiterrorism/force protection doctrine applicable to Navy shore, aviation, and afloat units. (KNOW THE NAME AND NUMBER OF THE PUBLICATION!)

NAVY DOCTRINE FOR ANTITERRORISM/FORCE PROTECTION Applicability (1.3) NWP is applicable to all Navy units and commands to include ships, aircraft squadrons, shore installations on other types of units, within U.S. or foreign territory, and in transit (ALWAYS GOOD TO KNOW WHO POLICIES OR PUBLICATIONS APPLY TO! LOOK FOR (True/False question)

5. NAVY DOCTRINE FOR ANTITERRORISM/FORCE PROTECTION Definition Antiterrorism(AT) includes defensive measures used to reduce the vulnerability of individuals and property to terrorist acts, to include limited response and containment by local military forces.

NAVY DOCTRINE FOR ANTITERRORISM/FORCE PROTECTION Definition (continued) Force protection – Security program designed to protect Service member, civilian employees, family members, facilities, and equipment, in all locations and situation, accomplished through planned and integrated application of combating terrorism, physical security, operations security, personal protective service, and supported by intelligence, counterintelligence, and other security programs.
