3. VISION To double total congregation in number from 100 to 200 in next five years. That is, 100 new people (children/teens/adults) and no less than 50 of these to be new Christians. To create environments for people to meet and grow in relationship with Jesus Christ. MISSION To focus people’s attention on Jesus Christ and turn them into mature active followers of Him. To celebrate God, to connect with each other and contribute our gifts to the work of the ministry. STRATEGY In real terms 10 new converts per year. To concentrate on outreach activities run from Manna Manna being the bridge in connecting with people. To establish a new style church in Manna. (To release a team to set up new work under guidance and supervision of Christchurch leadership). To carry out necessary alterations to Endyke Lane site (disabled toilet & Portakabins). CELEBRATE: Engage in celebration, CONNECT: Plug in to connect groups, CONTRIBUTE: Pursue our calling. KEY VALUE Lost people matter to God therefore ought to matter to the church. We value RelationshipPhilippians 2:3, Encouragement1 Thessalonians 5:11, CommitmentPhilippians 2:16-17 and Accountability1 Timothy 1:13

But what do these changes really mean for us as a church? 5 questions we can ask at any time: -Are we full of GRACE? -Are we GROWING? -Are we using all of our available GIFTS? -Are we CONTRIBUTING? -Are we sending people OUT? Ourmission tells us how we complete the visionor “live it out”. Our strategy is in layman terms for every individual to measure their own growth as disciples. Our values give us a framework for how we live our missionout but also very importantly say “who” we are. So, in a nutshell you might say: (Vision)We aim over the next 5 years to create environments for people to meet and grow in relationship with Jesus Christ. (Mission) We will do this by choosing to celebrate God whenever we are together, we will make time to connect with each other in authentic community and champion people as they contribute their gifts to the work of the ministry. (Strategy)As disciples we will celebrate by purposefully engaging in celebration moments through a variety of styles of worship, we will connect by plugging into connect groups choosing to honour each other rather than gossip or pull down, we will contribute our gifts by pursuing our callings through training and mentoring relationships.
