1. Bing Search The Antarctic tundra is only found in Antarctica and most of it is covered in a permanent ice cap almost five kilometers thick. It was not always a barren and frozen land. Fossil plants, reptiles, and marsupials are same species found there which indicates that Antarctica climate was once temperate. The mildest climate, Antarctic Peninsula, or Marielandia, and only two vascular plants grow here. It is here that such wildlife as penguins, flying seabirds, and seals are most plentiful. Steward
