  3. Ba-da-bing! Think of a specific moment in your life, and I’ll show you a trick. Write a sentence with these three parts: Where did your feet go? What did you see? And, what did you think at that moment?

  4. Ba-da-bing! When I went into the kitchen, I saw my mom at the stove, stirring a pot, “Mmmmm,” I thought, “Chili!” Now you try one!

  5. Ba-da-bing! • How many of these would you want in your essay? • Could you change the eye to other senses? • Did you use another word other than “walked”?

  6. Ba-da-bing! When I stepped out onto the stage, I could hear the audience clapping, “What was I so afraid of?” I thought, “This is fun!”
