  4. ZangleConnect FrontOffice FrontOffice utilizes a button or tree menu system, while ZangleConnect is a vertical menu

  5. Q Shell Menu Q Shell utilizes a horizontal menu on its web-based software to deliver applications Q Shell still allows for permissions to be set to meet the specific needs of the user

  6. Personalizing Your Q • User may configure data display/module order in Student Profile. • Sticky notes are user based. • User may save frequently used reports. • Favorites may be set up for frequent screens. • User may decide their default method of finding a student (last name or Student ID)

  7. Favorites & Help Help documentation is provided in .pdf format and on-screen tutorials. Adobe Reader 9.0 or higher is needed. Any application can be added to your favorites for quick access.

  8. Banner The Banner shows basic student information and can be configured by the user.

  9. Banner Configurations You can configure what items you would like to see on the banner at the top of each screen. Available items appear on the left. Items selected appear on the right.

  10. Search and Other Functions Search for the student by first and last name, state id, local id, etc. Narrow your choices and select from the right.

  11. Student Profile Q’s student profile allows you to see all data at the same time. You can configure the order according to your needs.

  12. Configuring Student Profile As a user, you will be able to configure Q‘s student profile The configuration menu allows you to order the profile areas according to your needs Simply click and pull the areas to the top as desired.

  13. Student Profile ZangleConnect’sprevious student profile required users to choose from the pull-down menu and access to only one data type at a time. Q’s student profile allows you to see all data at the same time. You can configure the order according to your needs.

  14. Reports Each application has its own reports. Q 1.5 release features new reports in several of the areas: Activities Report, Birthday List Report, Program History Report, Pulse Student Report, Student Profile Report

  15. Reports The reports are accessible according to permissions set by the district. The reports are flexible and can be filtered, sorted, exported, and saved as needed.

  16. Sticky Notes Sticky Notes provide a way for you to put a note on the screen that you can refer back to at any time. It is located at the bottom of every screen. Notes are time and date-stamped for your convenience. All the notes are specific to the user. Other users cannot see your notes. The notes are also specific to the application in case you need to keep brief instructions readily available.
