Passionate Science Teacher with Strong Roots in Education

With over a decade of experience, I am proud to be a part of HGMS since its inception. I hold a BS in Communication and an MA in Elementary Education, allowing me to foster curiosity and exploration in my students. I believe science is a gateway to discovery, inspiring students to question and learn. Outside of teaching, I enjoy creative pursuits like drama, dance, and crafting. I live in Holly Springs with my husband and our four beloved cats, and I am committed to the motto, “Every student WILL succeed!”

I love teaching Science! We all have curiosities and Science allows us to discover and explore new ideas and concepts that give roots to our curiosities and allows them to grow. As Alice in Wonderland says, "Curioser and curiouser!“ My husband and I live with our four cats: Pumpkin, Little Kitty, Junior, and Coconut, in Holly Springs. I was born and raised in the Cary/Apex area, so I am a native of the area. I enjoy drama, dance, singing, playing my flute, and being crafty. “Every student WILL Succeed!”
