  4. Federalist Party People involved Importance • Aaron Burr • Samuel Chase • George Clinton • Jonathan Edwards • It believed in strong national government • They wanted higher tariff

  5. Abolitionist Movement People involved How it is important today • Fredrick Douglass • Harriet Tubman • Harriet Stowe • John Brown • Child and adult slavery are forced labor are illegal in most countries
