  8. Mattie Lindsay, Ganesha High School, Pomona, CaliforniaDuolog: A Technique for Improving Reading Student Data Using the SAT9 reading scores, teacher observations and the LR Reading Scale 3, Grades9-12, I found that the greatest improvement was from Literal to Somewhat Accomplished, and the Moderately Accomplished and the Accomplished readers evened out with an increase in Accomplished readers. 9. Mattie Lindsay, Ganesha High School, Pomona, CaliforniaDuolog: A Technique for Improving Reading Revisions The greatest reading improvements were at the two lowest levels which was what I wanted. I would, however, change the amount of time allocated to Duolog reading. Two times a week was good, but more time was needed for greater improvement. Next year I plan to have after school Duolog reading, using in class materials and online reading. CTAP 295 Teaching with Technology

  10. Mattie Lindsay, Ganesha High School, Pomona, CaliforniaDuolog: A Technique for Improving Reading Summary As a CTAP Mentor my greatest learning experience has been learning how to organize and implement workshop trainings for teachers. Also, using data from rubrics other than standardized test to monitor my students progress has also been very helpful. Learning to organize and use that data for student improvement will aid me for years to come. CTAP 295 Teaching with Technology
