The Bleating of the Sheep Meant: • God was disobeyed (1:1-3, 9; Jer. 2:13, 32; Mt. 23:37; Heb. 5:8-9) • A man had lied (1:13; 1 Jn. 2:3-4; Eph. 4:25) • Humility had been lost (1:17, 23; 1 Sam. 9:21; Prov. 6:17; Mic. 6:8) • Men were feared more than God (1:24; Matt. 10:28; Rev. 21:8; Acts 5:9) • Will worship (1:15, 22; Dt. 4:2; 12:32; Matt. 15:7-9; Col. 2:20-23) • An effort to shift responsibility (1:15; Ex. 32:22; Matt. 27:24; Gal. 6:5) Are there any sheep bleating in our activities?
