  2. SAE put on the 12th annual Paul Burnnet soccer tournament to raise money for a scholarship in memory of Paul Burnnet. Mr. Burnnet was an SAE at VSU, who died in a car accident, his senior year of school. I helped out by cooking hot dogs and hamburgers for all of the teams. Paul Burnette Soccer Tournament

  3. Mrs. Burnnet • Teams made up of fraternities, sororities, and other business organizations pay an entry fee to play in the tournament. • That money is given to a scholarship fund that Mrs. Burnnet started in 93’. • At the end of the tournament Mrs. Burnnet says a few words and presents trophies to the winning teams.

  4. ~Car Wash~ • April 23, our FYE class washed cars to raise money for the American Heart Association. • This money will be given to help support an wounded American soldier.

  5. Car Wash • Students worked all morning and afternoon holding signs, and washing and drying cars. • The car wash was a fun way to raise money for a respectable cause.

  6. ~March of Dimes BBQ Dinner~ • BBQ dinners were sold as part of a fundraiser for Sigma Alpha Epsilon. • The proceeds from the dinners went to the March of Dimes in order to support their foundation.

  7. Freshman Year Experience • The FYE program was a really enjoyable experience to me. • I was able to meet a lot of new people, and learn a lot about community service, while having fun at the same time. • Over all I feel that FYE has made me a more well rounded person.
