  2. The "Is nice to chat in English" has the proposal of the English teaching for high school students, and although it Can Encompass the Entire cycle (1st to 3rd year) We Will Focus On 1st year.

  3. Justification The justification for the realization of this project is due to sociocultural sad reality that students, many residents in outlying areas, spend about four hours in regular schools, and even studying in schools with resources such as computer labs with internet access and library, end up having very poor classes where the teacher uses only the blackboard and a lot of copy, without necessarily exploring the content.

  4. General Objective Enhance and or develop English language skills that contribute to global education of students.

  5. Specific Objectives -Instigate the student to practice some content worked in class, for example, personal information and descriptions of objects and space, and plans for the future, that being content that they are already familiar from the early years that had contact with the tongue English;- Relate the oral text to written text;- More interaction - mutual respect between students and tolerance for differences;- Increased cognitive ability related to the process of teaching and learning of English;- Greater autonomy of students in relation to tasks and exercises;

  6. METHODOLOGY Students create communicative situations from topics seen in the classroom and use other resources to stimulate conversation, here the use of video conferencing.

  7. CONTENTS - Understanding and oral production.- Wh-questions and yes-no questions.- Description of spaces.- Expression of likes / dislikes.- Future plans (use of Will, going to) review

  8. Material to be used: Since the school is equipped with a computer lab connected to the Internet, we use it, and if a videoconference communicator it is not already installed, install a videoconferencing program in advance. If perchance the school to be implemented this project does not have a laboratory with conditions of use, make a meeting with two groups (two 1st grades) and assemble a large conference where they can develop face by face.

  9. Timeline This project has duration of five classes (around one month and a half) and should involve distinct classes. You can combine with another English teacher from other series, or a more advanced level, with a teacher from another school.

  10. Step 1 first class To display the gender conversation with the students prepare a list of personal information they would like to know when you meet someone. Discuss the difference in your private and public, scoring on what can be shared in an initial contact with strangers. Also make a review of will and going to and how to make future plans.

  11. Step 2 second class Discuss with the class the various tools of the internet to meet people, reflecting on the necessary precautions in these contacts. Present the proposal for a videoconference in English with students from another school or class, emphasizing that the mission of the kids will describe the participants' profile, likes/dislikes and talk about future plans.

  12. Step 3 3rd class To guide the activity, draw up a form with the points that should be part of the conversation: name, Nationality, birth date, school's name, school's address, email, grade, reading genres, musical genres, entertainment, hobbies, future plans. Based on the form, students must create questions like wh-questions (What's your name?, When is your birthday? What do you do in your free time? Etc ) Discuss the possible answers before the videoconference.

  13. Step 4 4th classes Organize videoconferencing, looking to make sure that everyone has the ability to communicate. Each student must register in form, the information about your interlocutor.

  14. Step 5 5 ° class Ask for the students to do a survey of data such ashow many conversations with colleagues of the same sex? or opposite sex?Were the same age?looked at how many points and disagreed on how many points? Ask the students to make a document with all the data collected for the notion that everyone has all the information we collect and sort by topic

  15. Evaluation During the videoconferences, observe problems of pronunciation and comprehension, addressing the main difficulties in future classes.
