PeopleAdmin Applicant Tracking • Proposed Structure • Minimum number of days to post 14 calendar days • Hiring Request Form – HR • Advertisement – HR/Department • Screening – PeopleAdmin and Human Resources • Review/Approval to interview – OEOC/Department/HR
PeopleAdmin Applicant Tracking • Advantages • Consistent recruitment process for both classified and non-classified staff • Reduced posting time • Utilization of technology to improve screening for non-qualified candidates • Departments no longer manually tracking applicant packets • Reduced turn-around time from posting to hiring
Payroll Updates • Fewer email notifications will be going out to departments. • Additional notifications through the listserv and website. • Reorganization of duties to better accommodate the needs of the campus.
Benefit Updates • Short Term Disability Insurance • New employee orientation booklet and companion website. • Testing in web BASIS currently a new system for enrolling in retirement and changing retirement deductions online.
Compensation & Classification • New positions from the state began on July 1, 2013. • A new approach to auditing reclassifications that will help departments as well as our staff to better recognize changes. • New compensation analyst has been hired with expertise in market strategies for compensation and classification.
Training & Development • New trainings are being developed to better meet the needs of the campus, specifically, in the area of management and leadership. • We are proud to announce that this year we will offer the supervisor development program at no cost to the participants. • We are developing online training for those employees who may find it difficult to leave work for an extended period of time.
