  1. Snakehead Exploration By: Noah Rand

  2. Point of E For my exploration, I decided to make a list of the many crime syndicates, terrorists organizations, and evil organizations that appear in the series. I will write a brief summary about them, and I will list what book(s) in the series that they appear in.

  3. Scorpia Scorpia is the world’s deadliest terrorist organizations, with assassins and agents all over the world. They use threats to gain the upper hand, and they never joke around. In book 5, “Scorpia”, Alex learns from a dying assassin that the father he never knew was a top Scorpia assassin. He also is told to go to Venice and find the organization. He succeeds, and joins the organization. After training, he is given his first assignment: Assassinate Mrs. Jones, one of the executives of MI6 (British Secret Service). The problem is, he used to work for MI6, and Mrs. Jones was one of his friends. Once Alex confronts her, he tries to fire, but falls into M16’s trap. Then, he helps the service by repelling Scorpia’s newest operation: Invisible Sword. After this, he learns that his father never really worked for Scorpia: he was just very deep under cover for MI6. Scorpia also makes an appearance in “Snakehead”, but it isn’t mentioned much.

  4. Triads The triads are a ruthless Chinese gang that resides in Hong Kong. They are VERY violent, and always use force. If you were to disgrace a single triad, you would disgrace them all, and they would be out for your blood. The triads make a brief appearance in book 3, “Skeleton Key”, but the scenes are action-packed. Alex’s first encounter with the gangsters is in a English warehouse, in which he is fighting a martial arts expert. Although badly hurt, Alex manages to survive, leaving the triad with his head stuffed into a refrigerator. His second encounter with them is while surfing a legendary wave. He is pursued by a triad riding a state-of-the-art jet ski. Luckily, with the help of a few maneuvers, he manages to take the thug off the jet ski, and get away safely. Finally, MI6 decides that Alex can’t risk any more triad attacks, and send him on a mission to the Skeleton Keys. The triads do not appear in any more of the books, and it is true that they actually exsist in real life.

  5. Snakeheads Snakeheads are incredibly dangerous Asian gangs that smuggle drugs, weapons, and even live people. They are also known for selling the hearts, eyes, brains, and other body parts that were forcefully removed from a live subject. They own several companies, such as a toy company called Unwin Toys, which are used to transport the smuggled items. To transport live humans, they take a large metal cargo box, and shove 6-12 people in there. In book 7, “Snakehead”, Alex works with Ash, his godfather, to capture a ruthless Snakehead leader: Major Yu. In the end, Ash turns out to be a Snakehead operative, and is killed by the SAS. As for Major Yu, he is captured by the SAS, and then handed over to MI6. Yu’s objective, to use a stolen prototype bomb called Royal Blue to detonate a small island is sabotaged. It is also proved that Snakehead was in league with Scorpia.
