This unit teaches students the steps of the scientific method, how to apply them in experiments, and the importance of adjusting hypotheses. The steps of the scientific method can be applied in a laboratory setting. That hypotheses need to be changed sometimes as a result of an experiment’s conclusion. Mistakes in a scientific experiment aren’t always a bad thing.
