Welcome to the Library Media Center (LMC)! For a safe and respectful experience, students must follow specific guidelines. Always have a pass signed by your teacher and sign in and out appropriately. Maintain a quiet environment by disposing of gum, keeping voices down beyond the purple line, and reading quietly in designated areas. Be responsible by having a purpose related to library activities, knowing your ID number for checkouts, returning materials on time, and properly putting books back. Remember to ask for permission before printing. Enjoy your time at the LMC!

  2. Be Safe – You need a pass from your teacher

  3. Be Safe - Walk quietly

  4. Be Safe – Sign in name and teacher’s name

  5. If all white spaces are full, ask permission to sign in the gray spaces.

  6. Enter the time that you left the LMC to go back to class.

  7. Be Safe – Sign out on the hallway pass if you are going to be leaving the LMC for a short time

  8. Be Respectful – Throw gum out before you enter

  9. Be Respectful – No talking beyond the purple line

  10. Be Respectful – Read quietly in the Reading Area

  11. Be Respectful – Push in chairs when leaving

  12. Be Responsible – Have a purpose that is library related

  13. Be Responsible – Know your ID Number or have your ID Card with you to checkout

  14. Be Responsible – Renew or Return materials before or on due date

  15. Be Responsible – Return magazines to their appropriate shelves

  16. Be Responsible – Put books away correctly

  17. Be Responsible – Books on carts are checked out only over night

  18. Be Responsible – Keep book carts nice and neat

  19. Be Responsible – Work quietly and use computers correctly
