  7. Mobile Interview Process • Set interview goal: what do you want to learn? • Develop interview questions • Prepare interview subject with purpose and format • Conduct interview • Upload to web hosting service (Ovi) • Write blog entry contextualizing the interview and embed video

Prepare Your Subject • Short answers: 15-30 sec. • They should include the question in their answer. • Example Question: What did you have for breakfast today? • Weak: Oatmeal and a banana • Strong: For breakfast this morning, I had oatmeal and a banana • They should focus on you, and not the camera.

  13. Pair Practice Share your answer with your filming partner and work with them to perfect your answer • Question in the answer • 15-30 seconds • Focus on person, not camera Back at 10:55 Get close: frame them tightly Get calm: find a quiet space with little background noise
