  1. Echinoderms • These are marine animals, and they have a thin layer of skin over laying an endoskeleton. They are prickly and bumpy. • Have a water vascular system • These are hydraulic canals that branch into tube feet which are responsible for movement, feeding, and gas exchange. • As larvae they have bilateral symmetry (they are symmetrical on either half). As adults they have radial symmetry (they always look the same no matter which way you look at them). • Echinoderms have a true digestive system, in fact they are deuterostomes. • Clever way: • Twinkle twinkle little sea star, • Rough and bumpy that you are • You have two kinds of symmetry, • You’re a deuterosome like me. • Twinkle twinkle little sear star, • Rough and bumpy that you are.
