  3. Great Commission Baptism Col 1:23 “..the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven” Does it continue today? Who is preaching it? Many creeds deny God’s purpose in baptism

  4. “Now it is different…” “It is most likely that in the Apostolic age when there was but ‘one Lord, one faith, and one baptism,’ and no differing denominations existed, that baptism of a convert by that very act constituted him a member of the church, and at once endowed him with all the rights and privileges of full membership. In that sense, ‘baptism was the door into the church.” Now it is different….” (Hiscox Manual, p. 22)

  5. “What is different?…” Eph 4:4-5 If Baptism is different now, why is it different? Did God or man make it different? But notice “one Lord, one faith, one baptism” Is “one Lord” different today? Is “one faith” different? There were no denominations when Eph 4 was written – thus only one baptism.

  6. Have You Ever Seen Great Commission Baptism? Does it continue today? Who is preaching it? Many creeds deny God’s purpose in baptism This church still preaches “one Lord, one faith, one baptism” Purpose of this lesson: Look at all the baptisms of the Bible See why “one baptism” is still true today.
