  3. Structure • Marrow, ligaments, and tendons are used in the skeletal system • Marrow- in the center of many bones and makes red and white blood cells • Ligaments- connects bones to bones • Tendons- connects skeletal muscles to bones • Source: science book

  5. Conditions • Fracture- an injury in which the bone breaks. Cure:Realign and immobilize with a cast, splint, sling, etc. • Osteoporosis- decalcification and weakening of the bone No cure • Source:The skeletal system (book)
