LiNK Global Updates: 2011 In review www.linkglobal.org Thanks to all of YOU: WE RESCUED 58 NORTH KOREAN REFUGEES.They were brought out of hiding in China and safely accompanied to Southeast Asia where they were processed for resettlement. Because of your increased support and commitment to rescuing refugees in 2011, we were able to grow this program by 163%. WE RAISED OVER $130,000 IN LESS THAN 100 DAYSThanks to over 3,000 people who signed up to be Reliance Campaign fundraisers, $132,500 was raised in just over three months at the end of last year. 100%* of those funds will go directly to supporting our refugee programs (rescue, shelter, resettlement) in 2012 WE REACHED OVER 50,000 PEOPLE IN NORTH AMERICAWe added a fifth route and covered more ground in North America than ever before on our national awareness tours. We held 800 documentary screenings in 47 states and 3 provinces in Canada, reaching over 52,000 people and sharing with them the stories of the North Korean people.

Why apply? LiNK Global is continually growing in number and support while doing great work in saving refugees and working towards improving one of the worst human rights crises in the world. Be a leader of the movement! Organizing a group and educating others is incredibly rewarding and is a meaningful and eye-opening experience Develop and further improve your leadership, cooperation, and organizational skills – important in ALL aspects of your future and career It is a great way to network and meet new people -- Getting your name out there goes a long way! A great resume builder Human rights issues are continually growing with individual concern, social media attention, and global community involvement. Human rights issues involve everyone and everything – further involvement is beneficial in many ways of life!
