  2. SUNSET an enormous red ball hanging over the branches indeed seems out of proportion but the tree flushed with excitement insists that it is his day's work the fruit he produces 日落 紅彤彤 掛在枝頭 是大得有點出奇 但滿懷興奮的樹 卻脹紅著臉堅持 這是他一天 結出的 果

A FALLEN GODDESS He could not find the slightest crack on the idol that he picked up from the floor wiping off the dust he put it back in the high niche Last night’s earthquake caused the downfall that shook his faith Now that all is well no doubt he will go on with his worship but the goddess who descended to earth last night knows the man has failed her test by repeatedly turning and inspecting he has shattered her inner parts irreparably 找不到一絲裂痕 在從地上撿起的神像身上 他用手輕輕拂去灰塵 然後將它擺回 高高在上的神位 是昨夜那場地震 把他心目中這尊神 貶落凡塵 才讓他產生了 前所未有的信心危機 既然神像完好無損 想必仍會受到 世人的膜拜 只有神像心裡明白 昨夜 是它自己凡心一動走下聖壇 此刻因他的反複翻檢 而肝腸寸斷 下凡

  8. 莫娜麗莎的微笑 一定有什麼 不可告人的秘密 在她面前 一個男人歪著頭左右打量 他的身傍 一個打扮入時的女人 正咧嘴而笑 MY MONA LISA there must be some deep secret staring at her smile a man tilts his head left and right beside him a painted woman wears a wide grin

WRINKLES during the day these canals of time crisscrossing your indifferent face are dry only occasionally the wind blows sand across but at night water rises from the deep well of your eyes overflows and fills them then like a first-time sailor you set the ragged sail of your boat of memory jostling about all night in the labyrinth that has no outlet till dawn 皺紋 白天 密佈在你漠漠臉上 這些時間的運河 是乾凅的 只偶而有風砂 颯颯橫過 但每夜 水自深處洶洶湧起 漫出眼睛的古井 將它們一一注滿 而你便如首次出航的水手 興奮地駕起 破舊的記憶之舟 在這沒有出口的迷陣裡 左衝右突 直到天明

CHICAGO dozing off in the virgin forest beneath the feet of Picasso's strange animal when suddenly a long yell TIM --- BER --- awakens me I raise my head and in the sunlight that leaks through I see the skyscrapers all slanting towards me 芝加哥 在原始森林 就在畢卡索的 怪獸下 假寐 混沌裡 一聲拖得長長的 TIM---BER--- 把我驚醒 抬頭 卻見參天的 大廈 在漏下的夕陽裡 似乎又傾斜了幾度

  14. 一陣雁叫 槍聲響處 一隻獵狗 對著應聲下墜的 慘白月亮 直追了過去 AUTUMN the geese cry where a shot explodes a hunting dog rushes towards the ghostly moon fallen at the echo

  15. 電視 一個手指頭 輕輕便能關掉的 世界 卻關不掉 逐漸暗淡的熒光幕上 一粒仇恨的火種 驟然引發 熊熊的戰火 燃過中東 燃過越南 燃過每一張 焦灼的臉 TELEVISION The world is easily switched off yet not quite A spark of hatred from the dimming screen suddenly burst into flames soon spreading over Vietnam over the Middle East over every feverish face
