  6. Industrial Recovery • Industrial production began to recover • Started selling household products • Deflation • Installment buying • Department stores • Sell more for less

  7. Government Boost • High Tariffs • Imports • No taxes for the wealthy • More spending • Able to by stocks • Gamble • Large quantities
