This laboratory experiment investigates cellular respiration rates in germinated and non-germinated peas. Using CO2 sensors and a respiration chamber, we will measure carbon dioxide concentrations to analyze respiration under various temperature conditions. The experiment will compare the respiration rates, exploring how germination affects cellular processes. Students will gain hands-on experience with Logger Pro software, analyze O2 levels, and observe pressure changes during respiration, contributing to a deeper understanding of the fundamental biological process of cellular respiration.
