Tribal Outreach and Collaboration The purpose of this presentation is to provide a framework for collaboration with Indian tribes that have an interest in the NRCS conservation provisions of the 2014 Farm Bill to ensure that Indian tribes and their members have full access of our technical and program financial assistance.

  9. NRCS wishes to collaborate with Indian tribes on: • Specific issues in the 2014 Farm Bill provisions for each NRCS program that impact or may impact Indian tribes and their members. • Focus on specifics that will help ensure more meaningful dialogue and provide an opportunity to key in on items that may affect Indian tribes and their members’ ability to fully participate in NRCS programs. • Incorporating tribal recommendations and inputs from these into NRCS program policy development.
