  1. HeRAMs Mozambique - Assessing the situation and consolidating information on the status of health facilities across Mozambique.   - Developed to support the assessment and monitoring of essential health resources and services in rapidly changing contexts. Key Objectives - Common approach to the way we assess/report on health facilities (common indicators/variables/questionnaire logic/flow) standardized over the years but tested/adapted in each specific context - The responsibility of sharing that information is decentralized to data owners (in this case, organizations such as FHI360 that are leading the assessments on the ground) - Centralized data management and (basic) analytical/mapping services: the exchange of information, management of responsibilities, access to basic analytical products is centralized and supported through the online platform

  2. So far: • A review and realignment if the structure to ensure compatibility between the HeRAMS standard and the data gathered to date • A consolidation/cleaning of the baseline data inherited from past exercises (e.g. SARA) • The platform setup: we imported it the baseline and setup the various workflows so that all those involved can start contributing online directly, in a structured an secured manner

  3. Status of platform • Currently restricted the approach to some core/basic modules (damage, functionality) to cover well the information gathered to date. • The gradual approach chosen most efficient and will hopefully help us answer the most pressing information needs, such as the upcoming PDNA (Post Disaster Needs Assessment), which will largely inform reconstruction.

  4. Next Steps • Users create an account to view what is populated to date • Core group working on platform, including further agreement on its use, setup of workspaces for contributions that are currently shared over email and spreadsheet can be integrated through the online forms, from multiple different data owners and locations • Platform (www.herams.org) and access the Mozambique project • Meeting Tuesday 1100 core group
