This study investigates the relative activity and expression of various genes regulated by ARF and c-Myc in double knockout (DKO) MEFs lacking both ARF and p53. Using PDGFRβ and other promoter analyses, we assess the influence of ARF on gene regulation over time, particularly focusing on cell lines expressing the Rat1aMycER system. Key genes examined include cdk4, gadd45, and p15INK4b, with expression profiles measured at several time points post-treatment. This research elucidates the complexities of tumor suppressor pathways in cellular contexts.
