  2. Lake Surface Temperature Examples Lake Surface Temperature (LST) data was acquired from the MODIS satellite. The data were obtained from NASA’s oceancolor web-site, level-2 processed MODIS data. The LST data has a spatial resolution of 1 km. As with plume identification, LST can be reported as a time series based on cloud-free days.
