  1. GRACE-ITS ALL ABOUT GRACEEphesians chapter 2 verses 1 to 10 Grace: Unconstrained goodwill as the basis of some concession or privilege that cannot be claimed as a right; Unmerited favour of God Gracious: Show undeserving interest; merciful, kind, compassionate, benevolent Greek word is “charis” - gift Undeserved, unearned kindness and commitment of God towards people

  2. We are saved by grace to live by grace... But do we? Or are we bound, burdened and burnt-out? Do you live with a strong sense of freedom, peace and joy in your life? “Grace is the empowering favour and presence of God, that enables us to be who he created us to be and to do what he calls us to do.”

  3. Its saving grace and enabling grace Desire – Discipline – Delight "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." (Matthew 11 v 28-30; The Message)

  4. You know you don’t understand grace when you: • worry that your day might not go too well because you missed your morning quiet time. • feel reluctant to ask God for something when you’ve just failed again. • don’t see yourself as blameless in God’s eyes. • assume that God’s forgiveness no longer applies to you because you’ve confessed the same sin so many times that you’ve used up all your credit. • are reluctant to ask for things because you think it annoys God. • live with a vague sense of condemnation and God’s disapproval.
