Getting to Know You • How many of you are making your first retreat here? • How many of you consider yourselves retreat veterans? • Welcome! • How many of you come energized? • How many of you come tired? • How many of you have fantasy football teams? • How many of you prefer cooking to baking? • How many of you would feel comfortable singing? • How many of you would feel comfortable proclaiming a Scripture passage during the weekend?

  4. Approaching Prayer • Be still and know that I am God • Breathe • Yahweh—next breath • I love you; I love You! • Intentionally recall God is with us • Ask for the grace I need
