  1. Camera Overview and Filming Experience By Charlie Simpson

  2. DV Camera This here is the DV camera, this is the camera that we used to film our preliminary task and what we will use to film most of our Media this year.

  3. The Screen The screen is used to watch what you are recording at high quality, it is easier to watch it through here than to have your eyes through the scope the whole time. It can also be used to watch the playback of what you have recorded so far. It displays the battery life, time you've been recording and other information that may inform the user about their recording.

  4. Insert/Eject Tape There is a section in the camera where you can insert and eject the tape, without a tape nothing you record can be saved, it is like the memory of the camera and without it you would record nothing and the camera would be useless.

  5. Record and Zoom Control The Record button is used to start and stop filming, the zoom control is used to zoom in and out on the camera, the speed of the zoom can be changed using the menu and changing the settings.

  6. Lens The lens is  what's used to film, without a lens the screen would just be black, the lens has a lens cap which must be removed before recording. This lens cap stops the lens from being scratched.

  7. Overview There are many features and uses of the DV camera that I am yet to learn, once I feel that I have a through understanding. I found the task enjoyable and I would be happily perform a similar one anytime. If done again I could make further enhancements as a result of my experience.
