  1. Henry Ford • The founder of Ford Motor Company's business failed 5 times and left him broke before his successful auto company.

  2. Soichiro Honda • Soichiro Honda was told by Toyota Motor Company you will never succeed after interviewing for an engineer job at the company. Honda went home and begin to make scooters at his home while remaining jobless for several months and broke. Encouraged by his neighbors he decided to sell his first scooter. Today Honda is a Billion dollar company sporting auto and recreational vehicles all over the world.

  3. Harland Sanders aka Colonel Sanders • Harland Sanders, better known as Colonel Sanders tried to sell his secret recipe 1,009 times to restaurants before getting a buyer. And you know the rest of this story. There are KFC's everywhere.

  4. Thomas Edison • Thomas Edison was fired from his first two jobs. His teachers in school told him that he was too stupid to learn anything. Edison attempted over 1,000 times to try to invent the light bulb, but on the 1001th time you know what happened. And above you is his invention.

  5. Elvis Presley • In 1954, he was a nobody. Jimmy Denny, the manager of the Grand Ole Opry fired Elvis Presley just after one performance, telling him "You ain’tgoing nowhere son". Just go back to driving your truck and keep your day job. He went on his lunch break and walked into Sun Records Studios in Memphis Tennessee and the rest is history.
