Electricity Payment Delays and Time Corrections

Issues with energy charges in Kudankulam and Tamilnadu causing delays in UI payments. Multiple instances of SEM data receipt delays and time drift in various stations. Urgent corrections needed to avoid further delays.

  1. UI/Reactive energy charges dues Kudankulam Rs.2,292/- pending towards Interest for UI payment delay . Tamilnadu Rs.96,643/- towards interest for UI payment delay (wk 30&34 of 2012-13).

  2. Opening of LC for UI default Tamilnadu Rs.26.35Cr (TN opened LC for Rs.6.49Cr only in lieu of Rs.32.84Cr) Vallur,NTECL Rs.50.55Lakhs Due to delay of wk37(10.12.12-16.12.12) UI payment

  3. Frequent under recording of SEMs during Bus shut down

  4. NO OF INSTANCES OF DELAY IN WEEKLY SEM DATA RECEIPT DURING DECEMBER 2012

SEM Time drift report not being received from ANDHRAPRADESH: Only Kalapaka , Mamidipally, Mehboobnagar, Malkaram &Tandur stations started sending KARNATAKA: All stations except Nelamangala & Raichur TAMILNADU: All stations except Gummidipundi & Hosur Pondicherry: Yanam not sending. ISGS STATIONS: Vallur CTU STATIONS: Nellore ,Warangal ,Kolar not sending

  6. Time Correction • SRLDC requested to carry out Time correction in certain systems • In Karnataka only Nelamangala corrected. Time correction to be done at all other stations including interstate lines. • In Tamilnadu time drift observed at Alamathy, SV chatram and Interstate lines other than Hosur and Gummidipundi.

  7. Time Correction--contd • In AP correction started atKalapaka, Mammidipally ,Mehaboobnagar. • In AP Major time drift observed at, Kurnool, Gajwel, Malkaram, Vemagiri, and Interstate lines.
