  1. El Centro de la Raza – José Martí Child Development Center Utilizing assessment data in your Dual Language Step Ahead / ECEAP program

  2. Bilingual education Our program is conducted in both Spanish and English on a daily basis. Our concept language acquisition emphasizes learning in the context of daily life rather than through formal lessons. Spanish and English are used interchangeably, and the children grasp of both languages is supplemented with music, poetry, TPR, and story telling. We strongly encourage bilingual communication between students, parents, volunteers and teachers. Bi literacy is introduced using a specific color for each language. Red for English and blue for Spanish. We use the Soy Bilingüe dual language model utilizing full fluency in both languages as a goal, but language learning opportunities with English- speaking children.
