Note the diameter. • Step #3 : Inflate the balloon to double the diameter. • Step #4 : Measure the square, find the area. • Step #5 : Inflate the balloon to triple the diameter. • Step #6 : Measure the balloon, find the area, etc… • Step #7 : Discuss how the area of the square changes as the diameter of the balloon changes.
