Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniac met when Jobs was in high school and Wozniac was a freshman in college • They were introduced by a mutual friend because they both loved electronics and both were pranksters • This relationship was the closest one Steve Jobs ever had • Wozniac was the technician/engineer and Jobs had the visionary talent • Jobs wanted to take Wozniac’s computer chip and make its capabilities accessible by the personal user (never been done) • In 1975 Steve Wozniac and Steve Jobsstarted Apple Computer in Mountain Valley CA from the garage of Paul Jobs (Steve’s dad)

In April 1976 they founded Apple Computer • Wozniac is credited with being the sole creator of the original Apple Hardware Operating System and circuit board designs • Wozniac and Jobs parted ways in 1982 due to growing differences in their overall mission and vision for life • Wozniac moved on to teaching and ultimately sat on various boards for many organizations in the technology field • He founded Wheels of Zeus which developed the technology that makes GPS locator capabilities possible for us today • He has been married 4 times and lives in Los Gatos, CA
