  3. Early WWII Flight Helmet with Mk IGoggles This is a standard flight helmet used at the beginning of the war with the RCAF, and typically used in flight training. The leather is well worn, showing a lot of weathering and sweat with a small tear in the inner lining. The Mk I goggles come with the helmet and are in good condition, clear glass and liner intact. The markings are clear, and the frame shows wear, As can be seen the elastic is somewhat lost in the strap, but still displayswell. WWII Canadian Cloth OR capbadge Not a common item by any means, but not seen in a lot of photos being in use. An official badge all the same in mintcondition.

  4. Bomb Aimer sleevebadge This was the standard issue to Bomb Aimers in the RFC and RAF. This one has the three lugs and backingplate. RCAF Operations MissionWing These small wings with the letter "O" in the middle of the badge for Operations. were worn over the pocket. It indicated the flight crew wearing it had completed over 20 sorties. Additional sorties of 10 were indicated by added bars hung below the wing. A very important badge to the crewmen that indicated survival and hard fought battles in sucha tiny symbol. A nice original example with the correctfasteners.
