COPC Actions COPC Action Item 2012-1.6: At the next COPC meeting give an update on how NOAA will connect to the Backup PDA in Fairmont and what connectivity there will be between the Backup PDA and DOD. • NOAA will utilize NWave for internal PDA system operations between NSOF and CBU • PDA will connect to an NWave PoP to support data distribution to externals from CBU. • Potential DOD options: • Utilize NWave – will require an interagency agreement and possible funding • Establish a PoP at CBU – will require NOAA coordination November 20, 2013

COPC Actions COPC Action Item 2012-2.3: Work with the Product Distribution and Access (PDA) Project Manager to understand the critical milestones for the implementation of the PDA and how this will impact the DAPE Gateway and DOD partners. • PDA and NDE 2.0 at NSOF will support both GOES-R (8/15) and JPSS (10/15) Operational Readiness Reviews. • PDA and NDE 2.0 at NSOF may go operational 4th QTR 2015. PDA and NDE 2.0 can provide operational support to NPP from NSOF. • Limited user access testing available March 2014 • Legacy data transition to PDA remains unscheduled. • Potential Impacts • Replace FTP with (S)FTP(s) • Rehome data source/data destination to PDA • Establish PDA user accounts with OSPO • Potential elimination of complex file names and unique file formats November 20, 2013
