  3. Today we will be sharing our knowledge about something in particular and coming up with questions we want to answer. Here’s a clue to the subject… What has a bark but no bite, limbs but can’t walk and rings but no fingers? A TREE!

  4. DATE: Learning Intention: To share knowledge on a subject. Context: Trees It’s time to get working. With your group, jot down as many facts as you can about trees. Use the Post-it notes on thetables. You are going to need to demonstrate excellent group work as well as superb speaking and listening skills. Think about how you will organise your group.

  5. DATE: Learning Intention: To share knowledge on a subject. Context: Trees Now choose one ‘spy’ to fly over to another group and ‘steal’ some facts from them.

  6. DATE: Learning Intention: To share knowledge on a subject. Context: Trees Now it’s time to share our facts. As a group, choose your top three facts and be ready to share them with the class. Once you have shared the facts, put all of your notes on the working wall.

Did you share any facts with your group? Or come up with any interesting questions? How do you think you did today? Give yourself and your group a mark out of 10 (but keep it secret).
