Ancient Egypt

Ancient Egyptians thrived along the banks of the Nile River, which was essential for their civilization. They constructed vibrant towns and cities, relying heavily on the river for sustenance and trade. Their homes often faced destruction, prompting them to rebuild. Egyptian mythology was rich with gods and goddesses, including Sekhmet, the warrior goddess; Ra, the sun god; Bes, the protector of families; and Maat, the goddess of truth. Horus and Seth, mortal enemies, famously transformed into fierce hippos during their battles, illustrating the deep myths that shaped their culture.
