Objectives - 2 • Cooperative R&D Program Development • Identify joint R&D projects that could lead to results of significant value for deployment and policy making • Deliverable • Proposals to the EC and national DOTs (Canada, USA) for parallel funding of activities where the value of the activities are increased due to multinational collaboration

Objectives - 3 • Sustaining Institutional Framework • Migration of the ATLANTIC project into a long-term sustainable network using web-based methods • Deliverable • An institutional framework for multinational teamwork and strategic information exchange (An “incubator” for ITS policy and deployment research?)
