Proposal—Working Points

Pitfalls to Avoid

Proposals are always an effort to persuade for some form of remuneration

Pitfalls of the Proposal

The most common error of proposal writers is to confuse this type of report with the feasibility report, another type of report that attempts to solve a problem by fairly comparing and contrasting several solutions to that problem.

A proposal deals with a problem, too, but it focuses on just one solution to the problem, providing as much convincing evidence as possible to persuade a reader to accept the single solution being offered.
