NCDO Bolivia “In charge of fostering the implementationof CDM projects in Bolivia...”, for which it develops activities in: • Issuance of conformity reports for the Designated National Authority, Approval Process • Promotion of the development of CDM projects • Provide technical assistance for submission of Projects to UNFCCC • Capacity building by training relevant stakeholders

  3. Specific concerns • Main Barrier for projects developers is lack of finance for prefeasability study, PDD • Aplicable Approved Methodologies reduces costs and time • New methodologies analysis should be faster (concerns about the EB, meth panel, actual capacity) • Sustainable criteria taking into account on every CDM project, the role of DOE.

  4. Specific concerns • Pre cop meeting Quito, 28 , 29 October • Instance of appealing to the EB • More diversification in the composition of the Meth Panel experts. • Strengthening of the COP decisions over the the EB reports making Parties pro active in the process
