  6. The Pupils • All these schools are different. They start at different times and specialise in different subjects. Some are in new building and others not so new. • But what about the students? Are we all so really different?

  7. The podcasts • We asked groups of students in each of the schools to talk about the influences on their lives. Listen to a selection from each of the schools by clicking here. • (Hillside 2, Svidnik 2, Bertarelli Milano 2, Lycée Victor Hugo 1 are good examples.) • In each case • Note down the main influences that you can hear described. • Are there any influences which you think are unusual? • What are the themes which continually appear in the podcasts?

  8. Our schools may appear to be different, but are we? • We asked pupils in each school to fill in an online questionnaire. • We asked them about their lives, what they ate, how they spent their time and how they felt. • Go to the next slide for a selection of results
