Climate Change: Long Challenged to the Poor After heavy monsoon rains and caused massive floods across Thailand, from 31 July 2011 to 16 January 2012. One third of Thailand’s provinces were devastated. • Cover land area: 65 provinces, 684 districts, 6 million hectares, • Directly affected to 13,595,192 million people or 4,086,138 households, • 813 dead and 3 still missing, • Houses: totally damage 2,329 units and badly hit of 96,833 unit • Total worse report by World Bank up to 44 million US$
