  2. RIVER NILE • The river Nile is about 6,670 in length and is the longest river in Africa and in the world! • The river Nile floods every year once and the crops grow!

  3. ROSETTA STONE The Rosetta stone is a stone with writing on it in two languages (Egyptian & Greek),using three scripts ( Hieroglyphics,demotic and Greek).

RAMSES II • Ramses II bathed in milk! • Ramses II had over 100 children! • Ramses II built 7 temples. • His most famous Temple was made out of rock!!! • Ramses II was 99 when he died. • He was also known as Ramses the great!!! • Ramses II was born in 1303 BC and died in 1213 BC!!! • His mother was called Tuya and his father was called setti I!!!!!! • Henry salt discovered Ramses II tomb. • Ramses II wife was called nefratiti!!!! • He was buried in the great pyramid!!!

  5. !!Egyptian gods!! • There were over 2,000 names of god in ancient Egypt. • Amun was the king of all gods.He had a head of a ram! • Anubis had a head of a jackal. • Ra was the most important! • Ra was the sun god!!

  6. MUMMIFICATION Mummification started in ancient times!!!!!!! A mummy is the body of a person or a animal that has been preserved after death!!
