The YeddungGuriYeddungYerra Project established in 2008 focuses on improving oral health in Indigenous children through integrated screening, training health professionals, and creating referral pathways. Our contributions include literature reviews, promotional resources, clinician steps, training Indigenous health workers, promoting oral health, and non-clinical settings. Understanding Queanbeyan's Indigenous community, political challenges, and the importance of Indigenous health workers are emphasized. Communication, cultural understanding, premature aging, and other health disparities are addressed.
